About Me

Ok so a little about me (not sure everyone really wants to know, but I guess I'll give you a little something)

I am a mother to 3 funny kids. They keep me very busy.
I work Sun. - Thurs. night as a night manager at Subway so my evenings are packed full of interesting people, drama and fun with my team.

I had started working out/exercising after my son was born in 2009, but it didn't last very long because I had no Real motivation and felt extremely tired. 
About 2yrs ago (wow it doesn't seem that long ago) I twisted a knee cap at work (ouch!!)
I was pretty much limited on my physical mobility for about a month. I did rehab and it definately got better (I was able to run, a little,) However I HATED going to the gym. I began to slip out of my normal routine and started feeling pretty sore so I started looking for some things to do at home. This is when I stumbled upon Amanda Russell on YouTube. If you want a good down to earth workout she's the 1 to check out (don't let her little model body scare you, she's very good and all her stuff is done OUT of the gym.)
I do several of her workouts and Love them: 6min Abs, Little Black Dress, 5 Bridal Moves, Bun workout. They are really great.

I have been slowly up and down with my weight with the lowest getting below 195 however I didn't revel in the victory and let it slide back to my 3rd baby weight. =( I have begun watching what I eat and lost a few pounds to bring my current weight to 195. I have calculated that I gained 60 pounds from my pre baby days. While I don't know if I can get back to that pre baby weight my goal is to lose at least 50pounds (about 5 each month)  by the end of the year.

I'm praying that God will give me the strength to get through the days with this challenge and with everyday life (and constant Aunti Annes pretzels around). 
I know if I really stick my mind to it I can do it (that's just how I am) So here goes a 42 day journey to a better healthier me. =)
